Ask me to enter my data of birth when creating a profile rather than when I register

As a user working with my family to support someone else, I'd like to enter my date of birth only when it's required. I don't like giving out personal data unless I have to.

In April we released an update the removed the requirement of entering your Date of Birth on registration. It can still be added later but is no longer required. Thanks for the input.

And - I'm inclined to "give it" but sometimes its nice to know "why" you need it or make it optional. My very small/one person "two cents!" More like 1 cent...:)
